CURRENT NEEDS

  • Volunteers are needed for weeding and other garden maintenance at the Turenne Wildlife Habitat in Southborough.  The Turenne Wildlife Habitat is a demonstration native plant bird garden.  If you are interested, please contact Laura Mattei.
  • Help SVT banish buckthorn.  Volunteers are needed to remove the invasive glossy buckthorn shrub from conservation lands at The Desert Natural Area in Sudbury and Marlborough.  Contact Laura Mattei.
  • Tabling opportunities have presented themselves over the next several months.  These events provide a valuable opportunity for community outreach and education.  Member support at these events is a tremendous help - both for the message it sends and also for the number of events it allows us to attend.  The next opportunity to assist SVT will be at Maynard Fest Saturday, October 2.  To assist with tabling, please contact Michael Sanders.
