Garry Kessler photographed this eastern towhee at SVT's Cedar Hill Reservation in Northborough.  Garry also saw another towhee on the hilltop.  The bird is one of the early successional species that SVT's Shrubland Habitat Management Project intended to benefit at Cedar Hill Reservation.

Craig Smith photographed the following birds during a visit to the Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge in Maynard: double-crested cormorant, eastern kingbird, great blue heron, mallards, northern rough-winged swallow, osprey and wood duck.
