Iryna Priester
Iryna has worn many hats at SVT, and she is currently Vice Chair of the Board of Directors.
Long ago Allen Morgan got her involved in land preservation, which led to her serving on the Wayland Planning Board. When her passion for preserving not only land but also the resulting quality of life took a regional turn, she became active with SVT.
Among her other passions are cooking and sailing. She headed SVT’s team to "Iron Chef of Wayland" bragging rights, and family retreats on Buzzard’s Bay and off the coast of Maine give her all the sailing time she need to work up a healthy appetite. In her “spare” time, Iryna is chair of The Volunteer Family, a national organization that teaches young people how to become creative philanthropists, and she is an active teacher with the program.
