Osprey and Great Blue Heron in Hudson

Russ Place photographed this osprey and great blue heron at a nest in Hudson.  Russ took a series of photos of an osprey nest at this location last year, and noted that it had blown down since the fledging of last year's chicks.  The osprey had since rebuilt the nest, and as Russ relates, was clearly not very happy with a great blue heron that decided to land in it during the process.
