Letterboxing

Letterboxing is an international entertainment that involves clues, ink stamps and exploring the outdoors.  The details and breadth of the pastime can be found at www.letterboxing.org
For SVT, we joined this circle of fun with the first box placed at the Gray Reservation in Sudbury in 2001.  We now have several letterboxes on various SVT reservations, maintained by enthusiastic letterboxing volunteers.

As always when letterboxing, please stay as much as possible on the trails: these boxes are all just steps off the designated trails.  Whatever you take in, please take out (i.e. trash, packages).  And don’t forget to enjoy the process—these properties are all beautiful and the best part, all near where we live!
