David Clark explains his photos above: "These two ducks were photographed on the Sudbury River in Concord, on March 26. They were not very happy because a raccoon (in the next picture) had more or less gone to sleep on top of the nest hole they had been exploring. Not a good choice of a nest hole, I fear."
