Julie Pratt gives an update on the gray catbird nest she has been watching in Berlin: "Catbird nest empty today. But did hear parents making noise further away from the nest. And witnessed them carrying bugs and worms into the hemlocks, which are not too far from the nest. Disappointed that they are not as close as they used to be, but hope the chicks are okay."
Julie Pratt reports that the gray catbird chicks "are getting bigger and bigger, now both chirp a little when the parents come to feed them. I can't believe they even fit in the nest anymore. Suspect they will be fledging soon." Her husband Mark Pratt photographed the chicks in their nest.

Julie Pratt photographed this gray catbird nest in Berlin, Julie writes, "Catbirds made a nest in the hydrangea next to the back porch. Spied on the nest today, a tiny baby and an aqua blue egg in there."
