We're lucky to live and work in the
Concord, Assabet and Sudbury river basin, one of the most scenic, culturally rich and historically significant regions in the United States. Many of the
lands that SVT has worked to protect fall near one another and are surrounded by even more protected and scenic lands. This all helps create a wonderful opportunity for biking tours of manageable length with many scenic highlights along the way. We've identified some excellent loops that have been the subject of past, and likely upcoming,
SVT outings. Below you will find links to guides that contain a map of the loop and turn-by-turn directions. The guides also contain SVT property highlights along the way, which are also featured on the maps. If you'd like to stop for a hike along the way, you can also download
trail maps for our reservations. Biking directions to each of these reservations from the nearest MBTA station are also available on our
Multimodal page.
- Sudbury/Wayland Bike Tour - An approximately 12.5 mile loop starting and ending at SVT's headquarters, Wolbach Farm in Sudbury. Along the way you'll enjoy numerous views of Great Meadows National Wildlife Refuge as well as many SVT reservations and conservation restrictions. The guide highlights eight stops at some of our most popular reservations.
- Mount Pisgah Bike Tour - A bit longer and with more challenging topography, this 21 mile loop begins and ends at Tougas Farm in Northborough. The tour features 13 properties along its way through Northborough, Berlin and Boylston.
